SoCal Saddle Fit is owned and operated by Reed Huyette, agent for County Saddlery and MSA Certified Saddle Fitter.

We focus on providing optimal saddle fit for both riders and horses.  County saddles, with their infinite number of fitting options, are our tool for doing so.  Whether you’re a pleasure rider, upper level competitor, or your interests lie somewhere in between, our mission is to outfit horses and their riders with saddles which allow them to perform at their peak comfort and ability.

We are based in Orange County and serve southern California.

Fitting saddles is like fitting a child's shoe.  It must be done correctly to allow for movement without pinching or pain.  Proper saddle fit is an important part of the whole equation for keeping riders and horses happy, healthy, and best able to perform.  We welcome the teamwork approach in helping each client, often involving trainers, veterinarians, and other professionals in the process.  

As an agent for County Saddlery, Reed has demo dressage and jumping saddles in the various models and sizes with her when she visits your horse.  Therefore, horse and rider will experience the advantages of riding in a properly fitting saddle by test riding these demos.

As a saddle fitter working under the training of the Master Saddlers Association (MSA), Reed assesses the fit of your horse's saddle onsite at your stable.  Additionally, she adjusts County saddles to accommodate horses’ continuously changing toplines.
